1.- Data controller
The personal data will be processed by WORLD IN PROGRESS CONGRESS, S.L.U. with its registered office at 32 Gran Via St. - 28013 Madrid, and VAT number B-16495434 (hereinafter, the Organiser), as the controller of the processing.
2.- Purposes of the processing
2.1.- Registration on the platform
In case you register on the platform, your identification, contact and password data will be processed by the Organiser to manage your registration as a user. Additionally, you will be able to complete your registered user profile, with professional data (role, company, etc.).
The lawful basis that legitimises this processing is the need for the management, control and execution of the contractual relationship.
For this purpose, your data will be kept indefinitely, until you cancel your user account. Subsequently, your data will be blocked for 3 years to deal with possible liabilities arising from the processing.
2.2.- Event registration
In case you register for an event on the platform, your identification and contact details will be processed by the Organiser to manage your registration, access and participation in the event.
The lawful basis that legitimises this processing is the need for the management, control and execution of the contractual relationship.
For this purpose, your data will be kept until the end of the event. Subsequently, your data will be blocked for 3 years to deal with possible liabilities arising from the processing.
Notwithstanding the above, the event will be recorded and published on online video platforms, so that, in the event that you participate in the event, your image and/or voice may be captured and kept indefinitely while the recording of the event remains published.
2.3.- Commercial communications from the Organiser
Based on your preferences, your data will be processed to send you commercial information about the Organiser's products, services, promotions and/or events.
This information will be sent by any means of contact provided, including email. Emails sent will include tiny, transparent links and images associated with your address. In this way, by downloading these images or accessing the links contained in the email, we will be able to know for statistical purposes whether you open the email or access the links sent. You can prevent these uses by configuring your email manager to prevent automated image downloads, as well as by not accessing links in the emails you receive. In each communication, you may object to receiving this type of information through the contact means indicated to process your request.
The lawful basis that legitimises this processing is the previous relationship and the legitimate interest in keeping you informed.
For this purpose, your data will be processed indefinitely, until you exercise your rights of erasure or objection.
2.4.- Specific purposes in specific events
In addition to the purposes indicated above, and depending on the event organised by the Organiser, your data may be further processed to:

Children under 14 years old shall not register on the platform or request to receive communications without the consent of their parents or guardians.
If the controller detects users who may be under 14 years old, they reserve the right to verify their age (using any appropriate means implemented at that time, including requesting a copy of their national ID or equivalent document), or, where applicable, obtain authorization from their parents or guardians.
4.- Third-party data
If you provide data of third parties, you guarantee that you will inform them and, where applicable, obtain their consent regarding the processing of their data in accordance with this Policy.
5.- Exercise of data protection rights
In any case, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability, by writing to the Organiser by post at the postal address indicated in section 1 of this Policy, proving your identity as a registered user on the platform and providing the data with which you registered.
