Francisco Reynés Industrial Engineer by profession, specialized in mechanical engineering from the University of Barcelona. He holds an MBA (Master in Business Administration) from IESE and has attended senior management programs in the USA and Germany. He speaks fluent English, French and German.
Francisco Reynés has been Vice President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Abertis, a world leader in highway management. Representing Abertis Infraestructuras, he was a member of the Boards of Directors of Sanef in Paris, Arteris in São Paulo and Hispasat in Madrid, among others.
Prior to his career at Abertis, Francisco Reynés was CEO of the cement company Uniland, which he managed during its internationalization process. He then served as Chief Resources Officer of Gas Natural, and was subsequently elected to become CEO of Criteria CaixaCorp, the holding company of “La Caixa”. In this position, he led the company's IPO process.
Previously, Francisco Reynés Massanet served on the Boards of Directors of Aguas de Barcelona, Segur CaixaHolding, Boursorama, Adeslas and Port Aventura.
