Jaume Duch Guillot is a prominent Spanish politician and communicator. He began his career as a European Union official in 1990 and, since then, has held various key positions; as of August 2024, he has served as Advisor for the European Union and External Action for the Generalitat de Catalunya. 

Prior to this appointment, he served as Director-General for Communication and Spokesperson for the European Parliament beginning in 2017. Duch led the communication strategy and was responsible for coordinating the press office and managing media relations between 2006 and 2017.
