Sergio Díaz-Granados is Executive President of CAF (Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean), a position he has held since 2021 and to which he was re-elected in December 2025 for the 2026–2031 term. A Colombian lawyer, he has extensive experience in the public sector and in international financial institutions. 

Previously, he served as Colombia’s Minister of Trade, Industry and Tourism and as Executive Director for Colombia at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). He also chaired Bancóldex and ProColombia. His career has been particularly focused on economic development, regional integration and international cooperation.
