Former Prime Minister of France

Édouard Philippe is the Mayor of Le Havre and a former Prime Minister of France (2017–2020). During his term as Prime Minister, he promoted reforms in areas such as pensions, education and labour legislation.  

In 2017, President Emmanuel Macron appointed him Prime Minister of France, a position which he held from May 2017 to July 2020. In September 2024, he announced his intention to run as a candidate in the 2027 presidential elections in France.
