Antonio Patriota is the current Ambassador of Brazil to the United Kingdom, a position which he has held since 2023. He previously served as Brazilian Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2011 to 2013, when he drove Brazil’s foreign policy towards sustainability and human rights.  

Patriota has also held the posts of Ambassador of Brazil to Egypt (2019–2023), Italy (2016–2019) and the United States (2007–2009), and was Permanent Representative of Brazil to the United Nations between 2013 and 2016.
