Jaume Duch Guillot is a prominent Spanish politician and communicator. He began his career as a European Union official in 1990 and has held several key positions. Since August 2024, he has served as Minister of European Union and Foreign Action of the Government of Catalonia.  

Before this appointment, he was the Director-General of Communication and Spokesperson of the European Parliament from 2017. Duch spearheaded the institution’s communications strategy and was responsible for coordinating the press room and managing media relations between 2006 and 2017.
