Former President of Colombia and Nobel Peace Prize Winner
Juan Manuel Santos was President of the Republic of Colombia from 2010 to 2018. In 2016, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Before becoming President, he served as Colombian Minister of Foreign Trade, Colombian Minister of Finance and Public Credit, and Colombian Minister of National Defence.
He is currently the founder and Chairman of the Compaz Foundation (Fundación Compaz), which he created in order to promote peacebuilding and environmental conservation, primarily through leadership.
